Aggressively styled with a fresh weight and proportion, SHOWGOER lands a knockout punch to the traditional 1950s cat-eye frame. Inspired by the cool screen sirens of French new wave cinema, SHOWGOER tantalizes with the possibility of concealed identities. Its angular dimensions suggest a new and rebellious attitude, from the bold new weight of the acetate frame to the slender titanium inlay that borders its perimeter—details that are reminiscent of punk-era revivals of the cat-eye shape.

Linda Farrow – Alessandra Rich 3 – Solid Lens in a Tortoiseshell Frame

Break hearts in these skinny cat eye sunglasses from our collaboration with Alessandra Rich. Crafted from tortoiseshell Italian acetate and gold stainless steel, angular elongated corners are accentuated with a detachable 18 carat gold-plated brass chain adorned with a broken heart inscribed, 'Te Amo'. DITA – Mann – Black/clear

East meets West in the form of Mann, a modern frame that infuses a quintessentially American silhouette with the unique historical signature of Japanese calligraphy. The frame’s unique contrast of volume and lightness draws upon the deliberate strokes of kaisho, an ancient artistic form that requires years of practice and extraordinary discipline to be mastered. While the inspiration behind this familiar shape dates back centuries, the technology that makes it possible is state of the art and limited to only a handful of the finest Japanese eyewear manufacturers. Using DITA’s unique chemical annealing process, the lightweight acetate frame is rendered in a groundbreaking stainless steel core lamination process; the end product is 50% thinner than traditional acetate and more than twice as strong. Subtle details, such as the frame’s gently chamfered edges, evoke the harmony and elegance that distinguish kaisho’s instantly recognizable broad brush stokes.

These jets combined aerodynamic grace with revolutionary technology to reach speeds in excess of Mach 3; the fighter pilots who commanded these jets became international icons for their daring and courageous attitude, as well as for the classic aviator’s style that followed them onto the tarmac. These heroic aspirations have been sculpted into an elegant, lightweight frame composed of Japanese beta-titanium for unparalleled strength and flexibility; oversized acetate temple tips accentuate Flight-Seven’s remarkably thin frame while adding a new dimension of comfort and style. DITA – CONIQUE – DTS514-53-01 -Black Frame

Opposites collide in the form of CONIQUE, a bold oversized women’s frame that defies easy categorization. Nominally informed by the brash visual style of the post-punk movement, CONIQUE features a juxtaposition of familiar elements that feel foreign when taken as a whole. The all-acetate frame is aggressively sculpted around both lenses, adding a squared weight over semi-round 2-base lenses. These geometries converge to achieve a bold, “Aggro-Pop” sensibility, an almost a childlike manifestation of the punk ethos.
